Because then it dips into their profits, rather than giving them extra cash and a charitable donation tax write off. They take the Bloody good guys chucky shirt also I will do this donation from you and then claim they made a massive charity donation once they’ve amounted all the $20’s. It’s madness. Well, if they would donate money, you’d pay for that through what you pay for your groceries, the money has to come from somewhere and the store has no money but your money. So if they ask you to donate you’ve got at least the choice if you want (or can) donate some of your money or not. Looks like the better option to me. If they would donate some of the money you pay for the goods, you’d have no choice. To be fair, they have already donated the money. You’re not actually donating to the charity itself, and They’re pretty much just asking you to reimburse them for their donation.

Thanks for the Bloody good guys chucky shirt also I will do this clarification. Still much better to simply donate in your own name. Will remove my initial comment to minimize disinformation. Because they already donated a large sum of money for write offs and now they “request” it back except they won’t tell you when they have reached the amount to make back what they donated, they’re just going to let it keep going on accident. My main issue with it is how they constantly change and I have zero info on most of them. Is it a scam? I have no info. I have donated once or twice when I knew it was a good local charity. DO not donate to these ponzie scheme of any company. They take like 70-90% of the profit and gives out like 5-10% to the actual cause. Sometimes they pocket the money because it is all cash. Do your research and donate straight to the source.
