Except that the Blood Inside Me Pittsburgh Steelers And Syracuse Orange 2023 shirt and I will buy this ‘injection’ of consciousness into the mechanical flow of things can change the mechanicallity of what happens next. This means that consciousness is the key to free will and actions caused and directed by free will. Therefore, no one actually knows what free will is or what it means or how it functions – except for those few who know they have free will and can exercise it freely. Everyone else should simply ignore the concept of free will and go on about living their lives mechanically. To do otherwise will simply be confusing and distracting from whatever it is that you need to be doing – perhaps such as meditating. One possible benefit of meditation is that it can help one connect with the knowing heart, the understanding heart. Heart level knowledge and understanding reveals and clarifies much that confuses the mind. The mind, when it learns to work with and in service to the heart can come to great clarity of understanding about much that was once confusing and confounding.

I think we do have control over our own actions but we are spiritual beings living a human life. Our thoughts and feelings influence our actions but they dont determine them. We are prone to being influenced by outside forces which will effect us no matter what but we can still choose how we respond to it. Your free will is only causality. In meditation you can observe how minds attention moves from sense doors, feelings, thoughts and reactions. You dont have free will. Can you become a milionare if you feel like it? Make people do anything you want? Suddenly get to the Blood Inside Me Pittsburgh Steelers And Syracuse Orange 2023 shirt and I will buy this ability to fly if you feel like it? Sure you can take action but you dont always get the outcome you want. Free will is all about information, not particles or forces. If you can base actions about information there is a possibility of free will. Biologists tell us that all living things respond and adapt to their environments. Thus living things have a potential for free will. This is one way we differentiate between living and non living things. A thermostat responds to its environment but has no free will. But it is a device constructed by a living thing that does have free will. Philosophers would define free will such that most organisms do not have free will because their responses to their environments are not freely controlled but are more or less automatic based on Chemistry. Animals though have evolved nervous systems that give animals some control over how they react to stimuli and the ability to remember which actions produced good or bad results. So even ants have a modicum of free will. The more information processing and storage available to an organism, the greater the amount of free will would be available. The evolution of free will took billions of years.
