People in the Blink 182 brandon heart costa mesa shirt it is in the first place but center tends to either want the same shit conservatives want. If you put a gun to their head and made them choose they’ll choose the facist over the socialist. Look how quick they moved to shore up security for the court after people protested outside Kavanaugh’s house. That’s the kind of urgency they have for one of their own. The people who do that are typically undercover conservatives anyway. It’s not an issues until it’s an issue for them. I lowkey envy Republicans bc despite the dissenting voices within the party they move as a collective and get shit done, even if it’s objectively terrible for everyone else. Part of what makes Republicans so effective is that they are willing to sacrifice for the good of group. For instance, and believe it or not, you have some Republican voters that are pro-choice. Why do they vote Republican then, you ask? Their voters don’t usually do what some Dem voters do which is sit home on Election Day to “punish” the collective because their chosen candidate isn’t the party nominee or their favorite cause isn’t getting enough attention. To them, winning is the ultimate goal and they’ll sort everything else out after that. Single issue voters fall along these lines as well. They may not care about 99% of the shit the party leadership is talking about. However, so long as leadership is saying the right thing about abortion, guns, immigration or whatever it is and it means Democrats will lose, they show up and vote.

Dem voters have to get it out of their minds that pouting, protesting, and most importantly not voting is going to make someone give a shit. It never has and it never will. Republicans waited 50 years to overturn Roe. Think about that for a moment. Most of the Blink 182 brandon heart costa mesa shirt it is in the first place but people who were of voting age when Roe came down are probably dead (or very close to checking out). Yet nearly the entire party remained in lockstep on this particular issue for fifty years. Meanwhile, the second some of you hear that college loans aren’t getting canceled or the federal minimum wage isn’t being raised to $20 or whatever you check out of politics. Ultimately, you end up not just hurting yourselves, but the progress of the collective as a whole. And before anyone says it, no, I’m not telling you to just blindly vote. I’m telling you to stop whining and get involved. If you don’t think your preferred party’s leadership is doing enough, then jump into to the mix. Become a campaign volunteer, community organizer, donate, or if all else fails, run for office yourself.
