This is one of the Blake Martinez New York G Player Map an American football linebacker T-Shirt and I will buy this dumbest posters I’ve ever seen. Trying to make men out to always be the bad guy. If he was drunk then he also didn’t give consent Back in 2002, when I went to UCSB, all of the fraternities were closed due to multiple rape accusations of each one. It was so bad, the school declared a temporary ban on them to fix the problem. The only fraternity allowed to function was a Christian one, because it didn’t have any rape accusations. To say that it was scary as a woman in UCSB was an understatement. Rape was the number one crime by a landslide. Even though it was a crime, almost none of the men were convicted of rape. Women who reported it to the school were hushed, and often the police were not involved. These posters were to deter men not to rape, but most of them were keenly aware that jail didn’t happen to anyone who did rape a woman. After all, the school protected rapists to keep the name of the school clean. Trailing far behind was bike theft at number 2. For the year I went to UCSB I never went to a co-ed party. I only had parties with my 3 other female roommates. That was how bad it was. It wasn’t a fun college experience. And I hope it’s better for women today.

People are being very obtuse about the Blake Martinez New York G Player Map an American football linebacker T-Shirt and I will buy this context here. We did and do have a massive problem with men taking advantage of inebriated women in our culture. To the point where they have to pass these kinds of laws to make to make men think twice about sexual encounters with inebriated women. Have women taken advantage of inebriated men? Sure, it’s happened. Is it anywhere near as common? Nope. Brock Turner raped a passed out woman when he was drunk. If there weren’t witnesses he would say ‘we were both drunk’ and people would side with him. It only says that Josie could not give consent, so that should mean Jake could? They were both drunk, but he could be relaxed-and-laughing-a-lot drunk and she passed-out-on-the-floor-after-puking-on-herself drunk

I remember I was at a wedding this girl hit on me asked me to go back to her hotel room I was like did you have a glass of wine Found out later it was the Blake Martinez New York G Player Map an American football linebacker T-Shirt and I will buy this grooms cousin and she’s still mad at me three years later for not cha cha sliding her Woo hoo Josie shouldn’t be out there whoring it up then if she’s too drunk for consent. She should have gone home. Her home. Alone. It does take a single day and one nasty piece of work to ruin your life. That is why you never give a bar hook up your real name and always go to a cash no tell motel. She’s drunk. You don’t waste 5 stars on that. How bout don’t get drunk with random people who you randomly might or might not have sex with. Like, be in charge of yourself.

Am I the Blake Martinez New York G Player Map an American football linebacker T-Shirt and I will buy this only one that takes offense to the sentence “it only takes a day” to ruin your life”? The way I’m reading it is as “don’t be a rapist, as it will ruin your life”. I think it’s a the message of NOT HARMING SOMEONE ELSE is a bit more important… I think the imbalance comes from performance. A female can essentially be passed out and can technically still be engaged with. If a male drinks too much, he literally can’t perform due to impotence. I know this is reddit and most people here haven’t engaged with the opposite sex, but it’s honestly not the same. Bullshit. When I was 17 I woke up very drunk to a woman in her 40’s riding me. I never consented and I wasn’t aware of what was happening until I woke up. You don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m starting to think most people on Reddit have never had sex or had a drink. Not talking about a single drink here, but about being drunk. Not buzzed, not legal limit, straight drunk. Sure, it may not be the same for every single male on earth, but there are many that wouldn’t be able to perform after having too much alcohol. It’s not that complicated.

About this Blake Martinez New York G Player Map an American football linebacker T-Shirt

It’s not about whether the Blake Martinez New York G Player Map an American football linebacker T-Shirt and I will buy this guy can “perform”. It’s about whether he can get an erection while passed out, which is absolutely possible. Yeah, I think this poster lacks nuance. It states that any form of intercourse is rape as soon as a woman has alcohol in her system. It’s a poor way to teach consent. It’s kind of a branching paths thing. The intent is to protect people at the extreme end (e.g. an unconscious woman) by making the line unable to be blurred, so to speak. But never considering that the starting point (both people a little tipsy) can also lead to results that are generally considered OK or the other person being unable to consent either. But like, can’t technically both sides still claim that the other person sexually assaulted them? So I don’t think its something that can ruin someone’s life in the way it generally does.
Among undergraduate students, 26.4% of females and 6.8% of males experience rape or sexual assault through physical force, violence, or incapacitation. This isn’t to minimize males experiencing rape or sexual assault, but 4x risk is huge. In fact, males under report due to shame or blaming themselves and it’s also a huge issue that needs addressed more, but not at the Blake Martinez New York G Player Map an American football linebacker T-Shirt and I will buy this cost of minimizing ONE IN FOUR female undergrads experiencing rape or sexual assault. It is common knowledge that when you get drunk with someone there is a very high chance that you are going to have sex with that someone, so getting drunk with someone is a consent by itself…..i think. Wait a minute. I’ve gotten drunk at a lot of parties with a lot of someones. That was definitely not a blanket agreement to have sex with anyone. When I want to have sex with someone, I use my words like a grown up.
Oh my sweet summer child. Jake also could not consent but that won’t come up. The next day Josie decides Jake assaulted her. She goes to the Blake Martinez New York G Player Map an American football linebacker T-Shirt and I will buy this police. She’s immediately asked if she was drinking, if she was dressed provocatively, if she was wearing a thong or lingerie under her dress, why she was out doing those things if she didn’t want the attention, if she ever actually said no, if she fought, and why she was going back to his room if she had a problem with anything. A nice young man with a bright future could easily get confused by all that and she wouldn’t want to ruin his life over one ambiguous night would she? Thoroughly shamed, Josie drops it and goes home. Jake is unaware of this. He experiences mild disappointment that Josie won’t return his calls and confusion at some odd looks he gets from her friends but just assumes she wasn’t into him and moves on.
