Still have my iPod second gen nano, my iPod touch and iPod classic. The article says it has been discontinued, but what? I had the same ipod nano (the model right before they added cameras) for literally almost a decade (would’ve been a full 10 years in roughly a month) and some fucking jackass broke into my car and stole it. It was 2019, I guarantee you the cash value they got was nothing compared to the sentimental value. I’m not one for grudges but I sincerely hope they get a paper cut somewhere unexpected every day for the rest of their life.

I still have an iPod touch that hasn’t been online in maybe a decade. It has perfectly preserved Angry Birds, AB in Space, Star Wars AB, and Cut the Black History Month 2023 Black History 365 Melanin Pride T-Shirt Also,I will get this Rope. All ad-free, before the time of monitization and time-outs behind pay walls. I think it also has Cartoon Wars before the “pay us for power ups or it’s impossible to get past level 3” bullshit was added. The iPod doesn’t function without being plugged in but those untainted games are worth the hassle of a single cord. Edit: No Cut the Rope or Cartoon Wars but it does still have Angry Birds, AB Seasons, AB Rio, AB Space, AB Star Wars, AB Star Wars II, and AB Epic. Recently found my mid-2000’s iPod and it still charges up and works flawlessly. The last update it had was in 2009. Listening to it is such a wonderful time capsule of music. RIP to the worst MP3 player I’ve ever used. It’s like Apple hates the idea of user experience. Plus, I vaguely remember having to use the worst music management tool ever, iTunes. Gods forbid you have music from another source than Apple. I swear their malware intentionally screwed up the meta data.
