Oh Jesus I’m in a similar neighbor. Every month youll see some retiree post a photo of a bunch of deer with some crap like “look who came for a visit”. Same Facebook group has warnings of “heard some coyotes out last night. Look after your pets!” that is maddening. i live in a fairly wealthy place but we all hate deer. i chase them back into the Black Fathers Matter Dad Black History Month Father Day T-Shirt In addition,I will do this woods with my dog so they’re not near our streets. every time i see one all i think is car accident waiting to happen. My grandparents lived down in rural South Carolina, lots of deer eating the various crops but they generally stay down in the swampy areas so you don’t see them by the roads too much. A few years ago they had constant rainstorms for a month, and the swamps became lakes which drove the deer up to drier land i.e. onto the roads. We went down to visit for a week and had to pull almost a dozen deer carcasses off the nearby roads because people kept hitting them, then the dogs would smell the dead deer and run over to investigate and put themselves in danger of being hit. I work at a place that is very similar. Gated community the restaurant I work at has 15 to 20 deer in view of the window every day. Cars drive by and the deer don’t even move.
