Don’t let this distract you from that fact that in 15 months Joe Biden has crashed the BKFC Letter Logo 2 Ladies CVC shirt But I will love this stock market, provoked a food shortage, opened our borders to millions of undocumented unvaccinated illegal immigrants, and presided over historic violence, drug over doses and dragging the U.S. into the nuclear armed Russia v Ukraine conflict with the country that bribed his drug addicted son. The disconnect is that you think this issue is 50-50. It’s not. There is a huge number of center left, people that voted Biden, that are fully vaccinated, that aren’t Christians, that are anti abortion. Just because you voted for or identify with a political party for reasons doesn’t mean you’re legally required to accept everything that party spews out. The ratio is probably closer to 30% pro-abortion and 70% anti-abortion overall across the country. It’s just not that popular.

You think that Republicans will regret voting against abortion? Their constituents will hold them high and praise them. Dems will sit there and say “Yea, see, we stood up, accomplished nothing, but got down in writing what everyone knows how we already feel!” Thats the BKFC Letter Logo 2 Ladies CVC shirt But I will love this thing, it’s a person to person thing. If you don’t want/need an abortion, great…don’t go to the clinic. If you do need one, great, go to the clinic…but don’t take away that clinic for the sole purpose of robbing someone else of making that choice. If Congress got the law passed, could the Supreme Court decide the new law is unconstitutional? Is there a check on power for a Supreme Court’s decision, like a veto? Ofc not that would be silly and completly undemocratic, they have to be the last ones in line to hold up the constitution and to make sure noone violates it. Yes. The Supreme Court can review and overturn every law for whatever constitutional grounds they find or imagine. And there is plenty of ground for conservative justices to fabricate a constitutional argument against any such potential Federal law to protect abortion rights (e.g., declaring that it’s not an enumerated right so the 10th amendment says the states get to decide). Overriding a Supreme Court decision depends on exactly what grounds they cited for overturning a law or prior decision. If they overturn a law due to a minor technicality, Congress and the President can just pass a new law with the technicality fixed. But if they rule that something is fundamentally unconstitutional, then passing a constitutional amendment (which is ludicrously difficult to do, and would never happen for abortion) is the only option to override that decision.
