I have heard of that. I was a curious child and always wondered why they add minerals and impurities and was shocked when I learned we can’t actually taste pure water. Also why cats don’t like Brita filtered water because there’s a bunch of additives when it’s “filtered” that they can taste and it doesn’t taste like “water” to them I’d like to point out zebra stripes. If anyone can tell me what they’re for without googling it, I’d be mildly surprised. Zebra stripes interfere with the Billy Strings Fall Winter Shirt in other words I will buy this vision of biting flies, making it hard for them to successfully land on zebras and bite them. I used to think some predators were colorblind and those stripes’d confuse the crap out of ’em, but that’d make sense if there were a lot more species used those colors for the same reason. The fly thing was a funny surprise.

The question is though why are zebras the Billy Strings Fall Winter Shirt in other words I will buy this only animal that have similar stripes? It’s a fairly simple thing to evolve even if you can’t see them most animals have them. It’s actually a bit of a mystery why zebras have stripes exactly. There are some ideas out there but nothing concrete and nothing that can explain the above point. Essentially doubles the protective ability of a herd – the whole point of a herd is to defend each individual by combining them into a single entity. Predators then have to try to single one out. The stripes make them all blend together and makes it far harder to target an individual Okay I actually did a little more googling. Apparently the fly hypothesis seems to be the current favored idea, and that there’s something weird about zebras that extenuates this affect. But it’s still far from settled and every study I found with evidence for one idea(including this idea) had studies with the exact opposite conclusion.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
