I had this same problem until I switched from a brush to a damp beauty blender and now I never have this issue. So I suggest trying that if you haven’t! Everyone here seems to have really smart answers but I recently experienced this where mine was separating especially around my upper lip and forehead (sweaty areas, gross) for the Billy Strings American guitarist and bluegrass musician T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this last few months. I threw out my old foundation (NYX Conceal & Define) because I realized it had been opened for over a year and bought new (Milani Conceal & Perfect) and suddenly the problem is gone. I have no idea if the problem was an ingredient or just old foundation but it helped me. I don’t really have a solution for you, but I have the EXACT same issue. It’s so freaking frustrating. And my makeup didn’t always do this, it seems to have really just started in the last year or so. stopped wearing foundation on all of my face. I mainly just do undereye concealer (elf yellow and elf camo) that I blend out with a damp bb. Sometimes I will spray lightly with elf setting spray to help really blend it in and set, before I do any kind of powder setting (first steps are applying stratia lipid gold to my entire face and neck, followed by the milk hydro grip primer on my entire face)

if my nose area is a little red, I will use a small concealer brush to just put on the Billy Strings American guitarist and bluegrass musician T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this lightest dabbling of the elf camo concealer, and buff out any brush lines with the beauty blender. if it’s extreme redness, I’ll use some of the elf green concealer along with it I let my whole face dry for minutes after I do my concealers, so that it’s barely even tacky, before I do any powder. Like I will go and make my lunch for work, take the dogs out, etc. Any task that will give the products more time to settle into my face and dry down a little so that the powder doesn’t cling to it in patches If I put foundation, even the lightest oil based foundation on my nose or my forehead, I get this exact same patchy effect. So, I kind of just learned to love my face with less foundation. I know that’s not the answer you wanted, but that’s just the solution I came to. I still use all of my other products like cream blush, bronzer, eyeshadow, highlighter, I just really only use concealer now + a tinted loose powder (like covergirl).
