Yes but I’ve never known them to be a massive issue. Never been ticked and I’ve lived in rural Scotland for 31 years. I often walk in the woods with dogs. I’ve had to remove 2 ticks from one dog. When I say I I mean I drove to my mums in a panic as they freak me out. Seeing them is so rare that they do not concern me
