What is this hoodie?

This Big Smooth hoodie features the slogan “You Can Catch More Flies With Than You Can With” alongside illustrations of manure and honey. It is a black pullover designed for fans who appreciate edgy humor and wrestling culture. The graphic combines a bold statement with visual irony, making it a standout piece in any streetwear collection.

Design and aesthetic details

The print uses a gritty, vintage rock style with a crown icon above the text and humorous imagery below. This distressed graphic approach gives the garment a worn-in look that appeals to collectors of meme shirts and alternative fashion. The design balances the serious tone of the crown with the absurdity of the flies and honey jars, creating a unique visual hook.

Material and fit

Made from a soft black cotton polyester blend fleece, this unisex pullover offers comfort and durability for daily wear. The fabric provides warmth without excessive bulk, suitable for layering or wearing alone during cooler months. The relaxed fit accommodates various body types, ensuring ease of movement whether you are at a wrestling event or running errands.

Who is this hoodie for?

This item is designed for fans of Big Smooth, wrestling enthusiasts, and those who appreciate humorous quotes. It serves as conversation starter apparel for people who enjoy niche internet culture and sarcastic motivational sayings. If you like funny quote hoodies that challenge traditional positivity, this piece fits your wardrobe needs.

Is the design distressed?

Yes, the graphic print has a deliberate distressed look to match the gritty, vintage rock aesthetic of the garment. This styling choice enhances the rugged appeal of the hoodie while maintaining clarity in the central text and illustrations. The faded edges contribute to an authentic, lived-in appearance typical of high-quality streetwear.

What does the phrase mean?

The phrase plays on the idiom “you catch more flies with honey than vinegar,” using visual irony with manure and honey jars. By replacing the expected negative element with something even less pleasant, the design subverts the common advice about kindness. This twist highlights the humor found in unexpected outcomes and satirical takes on self-help concepts.

How should I care for this hoodie?

Machine wash cold inside out and tumble dry low to preserve the quality of the distressed graphic print and fabric color. Turning the hoodie inside out protects the artwork from friction during the wash cycle. Avoiding high heat prevents shrinkage and keeps the black cotton polyester blend looking new longer.
