Now I have a 3cm deep hole! Had 7mL of puss drained at the E.R and god knows how much beforehand when it burst. How about yours? I had a massive abscess in almost the exact same spot beginning of COVID. Was awful and had me running 104 fevers. …the dermo is going to dig that fucker out way more, pack it, and re pack it for 2 weeks straight. You will be going to the dermo every other day for 2 weeks. Possibly even stitch it if they have to cut it open. Been silently following this (just happening to see it on my home page) and I’m very happy you got it figured out and taken care of! Same thing had to go into ER to get it drained. They used a friggin ultrasound machine to see what it was. I embarrassingly said “is it an alien???” hahaha. Anyways, happy you are feeling relief!!!! The pain is unbelievable. I had one of those on my scalp and it was the single most painful thing that ever happened to me and that includes a C section. There just isn’t any room for swelling over the skull and anything like that is so painful. I’m so glad you got it checked out properly it looked so nasty!
