It’s not hard to see why Ocasio-Cortez would be an admirer of Clemens’s democratic take on fashion. First, there’s the Biden Is Not My President Screaming Freedom Eye Chart shirt and I love this fact they were born in neighboring boroughs, with Clemens growing up in the NY-14 congressional district she represents—a fact Ocasio-Cortez referenced by declaring him a “hometown hero” who has used his talents “to challenge us to question convention and imagine a different world.” So too does Telfar’s pride in being a queer Black designer resonate with Ocasio-Cortez’s mission to bring greater diversity and representation to the halls of power, whether in politics or fashion.
Biden Is Not My President Screaming Freedom Eye Chart shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
Finally, there is Clemens’s central philosophy of accessibility and inclusivity, so memorably summarized in his famous motto: not for you, for everyone. As one of Washington’s most vocal champions of social equity and a fairer society for all, we all know that’s a message AOC can get behind. The 24-hour pre-order window may now be over, but Ocasio-Cortez’s endorsement is living proof that Telfar really is for everyone—even a member of Congress. Let’s just hope she managed to secure her bag, too.

Ordered 3 t shirts, all delivered quickly and brilliant quality. All T-shirt’s printed and delivered as designed! Sizes of T-shirt’s all correct and quality of T-shirt’s themselves makes them excellent value. Would highly recommend.

An excellent job done by Streetshirts with this orchid colour version of a previous t-shirt and also with a reprinted sunset version too from a different order. More like these two please.

Quick, easy to use, exact and accurate, just what I wanted

Absolutely brilliant! So quick and easy to design the item, postage was as said a couple of days. Even though I was thrilled with the quality of my t-shirt, the company felt it wasn’t to their standards and gave a free sweet and £10 voucher as a way of thanks/apology. Will definitely use them again in the future!

I found the design studio easy to use, although knowing exactly where the design would appear on the garment is a little hit and miss as it is a static image. Perhaps a “Put logo in centre of shirt” or other standard locations could be added? Products were despatched promptly and were of good print quality. Considering the current situation I was very impressed by Streetshirts service and will be using them for our printed merchandise on our website
