Ask her what about these over budget houses appeals to her specifically. Figure out what it is she likes about them. Maybe she really wants a nice kitchen (god knows I do). Maybe she wants a super nice living room to host. Maybe she wants a killer master bedroom/bath. Who knows? Find out what it is she really sees as “WOWZA” in these non-acceptable homes and start seeking homes that fit in your budget that may appeal to that desire.
