Really every adult should check! I’m in my 30s but had my levels checked when I was pregnant years ago and found out I randomly wasn’t protected from measles anymore despite being vaccinated as a kid. Someone should’ve told the measles that they cannot touch pious god-fearing folk cuz reasons. Or maybe the measles just.Didn’t.Care

I’d be surprised if school nurses are even still a thing. These are the same people who think that kids dying is fine so long as they get to keep their boom-boom sticks “in case a herd of feral pigs attack” That is terrible to hear, from someone that had every childhood disease due to not having the vaccines at that time. Friend went deaf because of measles. But the liberals are bad. Measles is highly contagious, a vaccine exists and has for decades now, and they pull this shit. Puts me in a rage. It is shame children are risk for preventable diseases just because their parents have been misled unreliable sources. Sources that often unqualified in any medical field and rely on research paper that have proven false and withdrawn. Sources that have some financial interest in lying about the safety of modern vaccinations. If these morons studied economics they might discover the “free rider” principle only works when you are in the tiny minority who can free ride on the rest of the population being vaccinated to get away with being unvaccinated. The actual problem was the morons who had to spread this antivax ideology and popularize it which then made free riding impossible for themselves. This is peak LAMF

While you’re looking for a decent pair of shoes, I’d recommend getting gel insoles with decent arch support and cutting them to size. I use kids gel insoles since I’m UK size 2, and they provide enough impact protection and arch support in otherwise uncomfortable children’s shoes. I’ve found those gel insoles in sports and hiking shops. Hope this helps. That’s not true. Amazon has many good arch supports recommended by podiatrists. I wear power step insoles purchased from Amazon. Not sure if these are made in child sizes though. Go to a good running store and have them assist you. I agree with this! I went to a running store where they observed my gait, where I place my weight and how I balance while I walked. Options were more limited of course, but they pointed out the Best Philadelphia eagles damn right I am an eagles fan win or lose shit and I love this best kids size running shoes for me based on my needs. I’ve had this pair for a couple years and really like them! I don’t have any running stores near me anymore but I just ordered a pair of kids Nike Air Max 270s which, for adults, is meant to be a really good cross training/fitness shoe. I’m hopeful the kids one will be close enough to the quality of the adult one. I’m also going to try out a pair of kids Nike Pegasus which is meant to be a good running shoe in the adult version. I’ll try to report back after I try them out! At the end of the day though, I highly recommend going to a running store first!
I would love to know as well. Im also a size 2. I don’t really wear sneakers. Primarily because I can’t find anything that fits. I do like Puma kids. For shoes, I usually wear timberlands for blundstones. Thats about it. I used to wear kids ASICS or Brooks when I ran and never had a problem finding them, but that was a few years ago. For walking I like On Clouds. The size 2s have Velcro but I don’t care, they’re super comfortable Me too. I wish a lot of kids sizes didn’t have velcro. I wear Blazers to lift and they do too, I hate it. I have to wait for them to release one of their colors that doesn’t have functioning closures or laces, they can be hard to find Not at all. Hoka! I’m a size 5 so I’m lucky but they do make kids sizes. Surely you’d fit in a kids size! They make kids size versions of many of their adult sneakers. I’ll also say oncloud runs really really small…I have always found 5 to be a little loose in most brands but had to actually get 5.5 in my oncloud sneakers and even then I feel like I would almost be happier in a 6. I dunno if it’s just that shoe in particular (cloudflyer) or if they’re all that way. Worth trying on a size 5 it might fit great La Sportivas and Topo Athletic run small!
