Not enough money in this world to persuade me to become a teacher – I’ve enough teacher / former teacher friends to have heard the Best 62nd Assassin Melo Was Just Locked In The Focus A Good Night T-Shirt Also,I will get this horror stories, & it’s getting worse, not better. I was helping in a school last year in a class of 19 children aged about 8 years old. A girl from the class who seemed to be almost continuosly disruptive, sometimes violently so, picked up a chair and threw it at me! The naughty corner didn’t quite seem enough of a deterent to this young lady. I admired the 2 teachers and 1 teaching assistant that were on full time duty with this class, I don’t know how they coped with outbursts like this or worse on an almost daily basis. Could I do it? Not without breaking a few heads which of course is frowned on these days. So much for the rewards of teaching. Scientist, I’d love to teach if someone wanted to learn. But I’ve no desire trying to keep discipline amongst bored teenagers while trying to teach Ohm’s law and dealing with demanding parents for shit pay.

Hell no. My ex wife was a teacher. My brother is a teacher. My sister in lawis a teacher. The amount of work they put in outside of school is nuts and they spend their own money on resources. The pay is no way worth the Best 62nd Assassin Melo Was Just Locked In The Focus A Good Night T-Shirt Also,I will get this amount of time, effort, and stress. I’d teach computing, on the basis it remains optional – i.e. the people doing it have opted to study it, not been forced to. Dealing with teenagers who are only doing something because they’re made to isn’t really my bag. Certainly not for 40 hours a week anyway. All those holidays sound great but I bet most of them are spend doing admin shit for the school and you have to spend over the odds to actually go abroad as you’re limited to that time of the year
