Or go to Nicaragua and hang out in Ometepe. Climb one (or both) of the Ben Simmons Australian professional basketball player for Brooklyn Nets T-Shirt also I will do this volcanos. Then go out to the Corn Islands for your tropical fix. We were thinking Roatan! As we’re all divers so might be cool to do a few dives on our trip. Was also thinking Nicaragua but we’ll be doing Acatenango in Guatemala so maybe if we added another volcano and then Corn Islands…thanks so much for your recommendations! I would definitely go for Caye Caulker over Roatán, having been to both. It’s the same reef you’re diving but the vibe on Roatan was over 50s Americans with prices to match. But I also got food poisoning there so it might have soured it a little. If you do go to Roatan, pop over on the ferry to La Ceiba and go to Pico Bonito national park – it’s stunning and filled with beautiful wildlife I 100% disagree. Roatan diving is 10-15x better than caye caulker. In fact I’d say caye caulker diving isn’t even worth it. Whereas Roatan and Cozumel are the best diving within a few hours of the USA.

Also sounds like you went to the Ben Simmons Australian professional basketball player for Brooklyn Nets T-Shirt also I will do this worst part of Roatan, West End. You need to go to other parts of the island for good prices . Just went snorkeling near little French key in Roatán and it was one of the best reefs ever. There is also a neat shipwreck we saw some people diving to. Try Guanja in the Honduras Bay Islands. I was there diving in 1992 and the reefs were the best I have seen. Very isolated, not a lot of tourists. Amazing place to go. Martinique is phenomenal, not only for the beauty and Caribbean astethic but also for the culture. It feels as you are traveling through Europe and the Caribbean at the same time. Not overly expensive and somehow it sort of flies under the radar still.
