It’s because right now it’s an arms race. Adblocks are needing to update a lot more frequently to work around YouTube. The workarounds aren’t going to just work for long. Or hell, use ad-blocking DNS. I use Adguard (94.140.14.14 and 94.140.15.15) and it’s been great for making ads go bye-bye.
