I’m okay with paying some student loans off, like lawyers who became public defenders or others who became beneficial to society, but if you had no end game in mind when you got your degree, that should be a debt you need to repay. Most of that net worth is likely increased value of their home. That doesn’t mean they have enough income to survive, and aren’t drowning in debt. Yeah, I want some fucking debt relief because the concept of owning a home or being a parent is so far and alien to me that they might as well exist in other dimensions.
