Inflation since 1999 is approx. 73% in the US, meaning this restaurant is actually undercharging ($3.50 * 1.7257 = $6.04) Wow I thought this was just classic completely absurd, racist, misogynist asshole behavior. Then I read the comments and realized this was sent to a Taco Bell. Taco Bell DOES NOT CARE that one person isn’t willing to pay $5. Letter writer can absolutely go fuck themself. Imagine thinking you are so important that a company with ~$11B annual revenue gives a flying fuck about your $5. I have to do some math here. How could anyone expect a Taco for under $1 in 2022. Here is what I get if I made 12 tacos at home with minimal work at home. This is what I could get at my local HEB curbside. (Cause this bitch assumes drive-thru should be free of charge, as well as just throwing it all together. )
