I do have a funny Lufthansa experience though, absolutely opposite of yours: I was literally the Barbies and Kens Bowling For Soup Barbie Spider Shirt but in fact I love this only POC on a Frankfurt-Berlin flight and I felt like my co-passengers and the flight crew were extra polite to me. The flight attendant gave me extra snacks for god knows what reason. And juice. Lol. Now I’m going to be heavily downvoted for this part but a lot of the stereotyping is our own fault. I have seen men behave absolutely awful on flights. They treat flight crew like shit, get drunk on free alcohol, and are very inconsiderate of others’s personal space. As a result of this bad behaviour, others have to suffer the consequence and it also gives a free pass to softracists to discriminate.

Racism does exist, yes. I’ve been “randomly selected”. Lol. It feels awful when you’re singled out as the Barbies and Kens Bowling For Soup Barbie Spider Shirt but in fact I love this only brown person in a sea of white people. But I guess it is what it is…don’t let it get to you. Next time you fly Lufthansa, greet the crew when you board and say thank you when you get off. Do the right thing even if others don’t reciprocate. Indians are the rudest people on all flights. They don’t smile at flight attendants, never wish them hello, act all entitled on planes and also the minute the plane lands just stand up and crowd the aisles. We don’t know how to wait our turn, pay for extra services and expect a lot from people. Now OP I’m not saying you did any of that but there is a reason we don’t get niceness is because we never reciprocate. We are also ridiculously loud on flights and generally create a ruckus.
