The World Food Programme plan would spend $3.5 billion on food and deliver it to those most in need. This includes the Ban the fascists save the books cat T-Shirt but in fact I love this cost of shipping, storage and transport by air, road and river, and security escorts to safeguard food distribution in conflict-affected zones. **also theres already billion dollar companies donating but to constantly spend half their money to stop world hunger for a while they wouldnt be able to run a company also Collect 20 bucks from 10,000 customers then make a 160,000 donation to show off how thoughtful and generous they are. The other 40k goes towards advertising that they made the very generous donation and the bosses bonus for being so thoughtful. Wow. I guess I don’t know as much as I thought I did about doing taxes for a business. Giving my experience with it that really surprises me. I really appreciate your vast knowledge. I will look into it more. I’m pretty sure the stores get to claim all of that money as charitable donations because they’re the one’s sending the money in.
Ban the fascists save the books cat T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
Don’t the Ban the fascists save the books cat T-Shirt but in fact I love this companies get to claim that on their taxes as a charitable donation since it goes to the charity in their name? It’s not a revenue or an expense. Think of it like sales tax – it gets collected from the consumer at the point of sale, held as a liability, and then paid by reducing the liability. It’s never an expense on the P&L. Think it through tho, even if it was an expense, it would be an expense against…. the income they recognized when the donation was made, resulting in a net 0 tax effect. Don’t quote me on this. But I also feel like the company can make the donations in the company’s name and take the tax advantages of those donations. You’re indirectly subsidizing them and hampering the government’s ability to do something about it, creating a further reliance on these companies. Because they want your donation to write off taxes . That’s the only reason any big corporate business does this. They do it because it gives them tax breaks and free publicity, without any of the downside of actually having to spend their own money. It’s worst than that, they want you to donate money and they will then donate that money as theirs and get a tax break and make more profits.
