Either the Baltimore ravens lamar jackson vs patrick mahomes Kansas city Chiefs nfl kick off the 2024 season shirt besides I will buy this person who sent the offer knew there was a discrepancy in the dates and sent it anyway, which is unprofessional, or they did not notice and are avoiding taking responsibility for their mistakes, which is both unethical and unprofessional. In either case, this reflects poorly on the company and how they run their business, not on you. Take the high road; End contact with them and do not engage with them any further. They are not worth the time not the effort to continue the conversation. Do not feel bad about the way this job offer turned out. There will always be another company hiring, there will always be another job opportunity; Keep putting in the effort, and you will find a job that is a good fit. It may take some time and some trial and error to get there, but you will get there.

I don’t think it really matters why op didn’t accept immediately. Perhaps they interviewed several places and wanted to weigh options prior to accepting. The email date should have matched the Baltimore ravens lamar jackson vs patrick mahomes Kansas city Chiefs nfl kick off the 2024 season shirt besides I will buy this date on the letter. In other words, they really didn’t want/need you to fill the position. At least it neatly illustrates the type of conflict resolution you could expect in the future. Yeah, not sure why people are taking this guy’s side here. If I didn’t hear anything 5 days after being given a job offer I’d assume they didn’t want the job. If you’re waiting on other opportunities take the first job and then quit when something better comes up. Don’t worry they sound like a crappy employer and will probably reach back out to you in a few weeks when the new hire they gave the position to doesn’t work out. I wouldn’t waste any more time on them, speaking from experience.
