We were commissioning a card lock in an industrial area of a small town in the Ballpark Mimi Proud Baseball Softball Player Mother’s Day Leopard T-Shirt But I will love this prairies. I was the first aid attendant of record. A worker a couple businesses down went into an oil transport truck without her PPE on and was overcome by fumes(likely H2S) and went into the oil sludge and drowned. One coworker was outside the shop screaming for help. Her other coworkers suited up and pulled her out just as I was getting there. She was out. No breathing. No heartbeat. I know the hospital was a 45 minute drive from the site. She had to have been out an hour and a half before they got her there. She lived. Her mother came to see us a few days later to thank us for helping save her. They found out at the hospital that she was pregnant. No one knew, including her. I was there the next year doing warranty work. I was told that she and the baby recovered. Minor headaches. No loss of brain function. Totally impossible. Yeah…that didn’t work for me. Twenty seven weeks in I had emergency appendectomy. You know what hurts worse than your appendix exploding? A 27 week old fetus kicking it. Where were my stem cells kid? Where were my stem cells?!?! Edit- Lots of people here have had a “pregnancy cured this weird thing for me” experience. Checks scars- yup, still don’t have my appendix. This is why I’m too scared to have another one.

lol yeah people in the Ballpark Mimi Proud Baseball Softball Player Mother’s Day Leopard T-Shirt But I will love this comments here acting like pregnancy turns a woman into Wolverine. Newsflash, it does not :’) I had a burst appendix during my pregnancy, on top of kidney damage that I’m currently still dealing with. My baby didn’t get this memo, and I will absolutely be reminding him about it when he’s old enough for a laugh. A friend at work apparently gets diabetes when she’s pregnant and then it goes away after giving birth. She has to take insulin shots and everything. Happened during both her pregnancies. I had that, thankfully mine was able to be diet controlled but it is bizarre. It’s even weirder when it goes away literally as soon as you give birth! I went from having to cut out most carbs to control my blood sugar to having to chug orange juice in the hospital to get a decent enough reading to go home.
