Yeah see.. no. You got to bring something. I try to make it equal as I can all things considered. Budget $20 and sit the Bakugo katsukI boku no hero academia bnw shirt What’s more,I will buy this f down. My step-sister announced to my mom one year that she was going to host Thanksgiving from now on, but that my parents still had to make the turkey. Like, bitch, if mom is making the turkey, then Thanksgiving is at her house (plus no one likes my sister anyway). If you don’t want to bring sides than stay to help clean up. Cause at the end of the day it’s the host that has to clean up and put shit away and throw out people’s trash. So I’d say it’s a fair trade. When it comes to BBQ, I always offer to bring something. Even if the host says I don’t need to, usually like sides or dessert, maybe drinks. But one thing I hate is when people show up empty handed and plate themselves a mountain and not think of others or bother lifting a finger. Or bring themselves, their several overeating kids and some ToGo containers for leftovers…and NOTHING else. My selfish ass sister does this shit so much that now it’s the family joke. I’m showing up with pork belly, flank steak, and other enticing cuts, cooking on the fire and then dipping without sharing. Thank you for the invite. I always bring something for the fire cause I’m the best cook. Then again I’m in the UK so I gotta bring the seasoning and real hot sauce

I always bring my own food, but that’s because I’m a vegetarian and people don’t know/don’t want to fix veg stuff. But I’m also not American and with my friends it’s always been the Bakugo katsukI boku no hero academia bnw shirt What’s more,I will buy this norm that everyone brings their own stuff to bbq and drink, the host provides the grill, patio and hard liquors. Yo ive seen this in mexico. People usually bring meat and/or sides, veggies are super welcone too! Basically, everyone brings meats and veggies of all kinds! People marinate differently and so its kind of a thing because everyone can grab whatever(unless u specifically bring something for yourself) which is loads of fun. People go above and beyond with their rubs and marinades!!! In my fam theres definitely lots of showing off and my uncle is the only one allowed to touch the fire lol its kinda cool tbh! When I host I’m cooking all the meat and several sides, and I’ll have a few different types of alcohol. If you want something else, bring something else. I think people just instinctively bring something even if it’s just a bag of chips or their own beer
