The reason you will get downvoted is because for a lot of workers, WFH works so much better then working from an office. I’m only a 10 minute walk from my office, so working from home doesn’t save me a huge amount of time on commuting too and from work, but I don’t drive so on days when it rains heavy (UK so often) or snows, even a 10 minute walk can leave me soaked for hours (mainly trousers). Whenever I take a short break to go to the toilet or get a drink, I’m usually gone for 1-2 minutes at most when at home. When in the office it would take me 5+ minutes to walk to the toilet or get a drink as they are further away, so I actually get more work done. There’s less distractions at home (live by myself) then in the office (e.g. people talking to you when you’re busy) and I can use my own desk and chair so I’m more comfortable. I can have the temperature however I like it and even stay in my dressing gown all day if I want. Other then the social aspect, which can be helped with the occasional team meeting and even meet up outside of work if you really wanted too, there is no reason to return to the office.
