Personally the Back to school I’m ready to crush preschool shark classic shirt Apart from…,I will love this long term support for iPhones is why I will stick with iPhones now. Though it has much less resources, the user experience of the 6s feels like my 12 pro max because as a 6 year old device it still gets the same OS. I also have a 1st gen SE a friend gave me. It’s running the same OS as my 12 pro max too. Obviously the multitasking is worse, but other than that it still feels like a modern device because it has a modern OS. I did not get that with Samsung, and you do not get that with Android phones. An Android phone from 6 years ago feels like it because it’s stuck with the same Android version. My assumption for why that is – Apple benefits from long term support because of the App Store and it’s services, so it supports its devices for half a decade or more with OS updates. They don’t care if you buy the latest iPhone, they profit from you having one at all. Samsung and others do not, and you feel that when they do like Samsung did to my Note 8 and they stop updating it after 2 years so you have to buy the new one to get the updated OS (I know Samsung has their own App Store and services but they’re not as profitable as Apple’s). My Note 8 went from Android 8 to 9 and that was it. The 6s and SE went from iOS 9 all the way to iOS 15.

Damn, if only there were other manufacturers that are making android phones other then Samsung. I guess we can only dream though…. Switched to an iPhone after that nonsense Can i ask why you even care. Also a quick search tells me this is because some android phones start at $40 where you wont find a new iphone for under $1k. Android only dominates the market outside the US where people do not have the income to afford apple. I worked for a company that patted itself on the back for doing a great job all the while it was hemorrhaging customers due to incompetence. I did the opposite. Rocked iPhones my whole life but found they got soooo slow after short periods of time. I love my Samsung s21 though! Amazing. It’s 2022, and still this fucking company’s stoking tribalism over goddamn phones. And the tech news sphere still eats this shit up. Yes I was one of them, did it only because Android phones cost as much as iphone but they don’t have OS support. I personally did, mostly because Android Auto was pure garbage compared to Carplay, but that’s really it. Brand isn’t a huge deal to me
