The Everblades’ march to the championship was far from easy. They faced stiff competition from several talented teams, including the Fort Wayne Komets and the Toledo Walleye. However, the Everblades remained focused and overcame each challenge with poise and resilience. In the finals, they faced the rival Orlando Solar Bears, who had defeated them in the playoffs just two years prior.

Undeterred, the Everblades rebounded from an early deficit in the series to win four consecutive games and secure the championship. The deciding game was a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory, with forward Blake Winiecki scoring the game-winning goal. The Everblades’ players and coaches erupted in jubilation as they celebrated their historic achievement.
