If you believe everything has a middle ground what do you even stand for really? You choose to support nothing and condemn nothing, whats the point in that? Being comfortably uncomfortable and doing nothing at all? Its a cop out and non stance on any issue. In most western countries identifying as a centrist means you are actually right leaning and hiding to protest yourself.
