I never really knew the Baby Yoda The Mandalorian Star Wars Shirt but in fact I love this man and I certainly knew nothing about his jackdaw until, 30 years later, I found myself unwittingly repeating his story. One spring day, my partner brought home a baby magpie that had been found lying in a gutter. Magpies and jackdaws share family ties. They’re both members of the crow family. Carrion kin. Knowing no better, we raised this magpie, almost like a child, and an unbreakable bond was forged. It was the beginning of a story that would lead to a deathbed reunion with my biological father and my two long-lost half-sisters, a story that would go on to become a book.

Memoir is a bloody art. I didn’t need dying birds to tell me that. It’s a guilty one too. Often the Baby Yoda The Mandalorian Star Wars Shirt but in fact I love this writing feels like a crime. What sort of monster, after all, writes and rewrites a father’s death, or the birth of their first child, or dissects the anatomy of a breakdown, for the pleasure of an unknown reader? Where is the line between art and exploitation?

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
