Yeah it’s Raid. I won’t give specifics about how much they pay, but they make it VERY much worth your time to do an ad for them. They know they’re a meme and like to lean into it. My videos have a serious tone overall and I used the same tone for the sponsored bit, but maybe that was a mistake. In one of the videos I watch, the guy was playing a character and he did the ad segment while he was in that character too. I didn’t want to miss the comedy so I watched it all the way. I believe that is how it suppose to be. It depends on the delivery I guess. If you’re too obvious about the fact that the video is sponsored, then yeah, it could be an issue. Viewers could think that you are not sincere in the video and that your opinion is biased by the fact that you get paid.

I saw it happen before, but the Baby Yoda May Your Coffee Be Stronger Than Your Daughter’s Attitude Shirt it is in the first place but creator even put in the title that the video is sponsored. I tried watching it, because I like them, but the video was just basically an ad and you could feel that the person was not very comfortable doing it because they could not express themselves like usual. If the people paying say nothing, I guess you could just forget about it or ask them for feedback. Maybe they can help you change your approach and get a better result, it’s in their own interest. To clarify, this was a 90-second sponsored integration in an otherwise normal video, rather than a fully sponsored video. I tagged the video as “includes paid promotion” as required by YouTube, but other than that the only indications that the video is sponsored are in the description and the pinned comment. I fully expect people to think I’m not being sincere during the ad (the sponsor is Raid and we all know its reputation), but I can’t see how that would affect how people perceive the rest of the video.
