It’s pretty fucking lonely. Currently, I’ve never felt more alone in my life. Yes, I have a handful of great friends. But they all have lives. Families. Children. Holidays etc. I feel like a constant pain in their arses trying to shoehorn my way into their already full lives. I volunteer, I travel, I work, I work out, I embrace new friends and connections and I socialise as often as I can, yet I still find myself with hours – days – weeks to kill.
