We found out that the Baby Dragon I Didn’t Lose My Mind The People Inside My Head Stole And They Won’t Give It Back Shirt and I love this drivers were playing poker. They didn’t stop until someone had won the cash. The bus company had to send inspectors to babysit the drivers at the terminal to make sure they went out on time for weeks! Woah, that’s mental. Wonder if that’s what happened in Lancaster last year(!) After I left uni there, I kept in semi-contact with the various social media pages of the uni and those students had set up, and there were countless complaints about buses not turning up, only for – as you say – loads to turn up at once, or drivers being abusive when you pointed this out or for just for no reason at all. This was starting to happen when I left (first half of 2022; can remember one time there must’ve been close to 200 students packed like sardines in the underground bus stop and the stairs leading down to it, me thinking this was a fire hazard/stampede or some form of tragedy waiting to happen), but must’ve gotten worse.

Usually it was only bad if they were doing roadworks in town. I remember one bus from campus into town crawled along with the Baby Dragon I Didn’t Lose My Mind The People Inside My Head Stole And They Won’t Give It Back Shirt and I love this sheer amount of backed-up traffic to the point I got off and walked about 2/3rds of the way there; these days I’d probably stay on just so I could have more time listening to music and have an excuse to not do anything(!) I was once on a grim night bus in London making my way from Acton Town all the way back to Archway at about 3am. I had big noise cancelling headphones on but could hear a couple behind me having a full-on domestic. I ignored them just hoping it would end/they’d get off, but I got a tap on the shoulder and the boyfriend asked me if I would tell his girlfriend she was being a massive bitch. Given he was stacked with facial tattoos, I feigned ignorance of what was going on and thankfully he just started laughing a bit (kind of angrily).
