Cats are all about boundaries. A cat will not respect or like you if you don’t respect their boundaries. On the Awesome william tennent high school alumni shirt In addition,I will do this flipside, a cat will walk all over you if you don’t set your own boundaries. It’s okay to set a boundary that you need sleep. Malcolm might be kinda pissed but he will get over it. We have four cats, are die hard cat lovers, but our dog is the only one who stays in the room at night. It’s for our sanity and I think it helps the cats settle down for the night too. Girl, nah. Our boys were 7 (years!) before they could be chill enough at night to be allowed in the bedroom. That isn’t to say shenanigans don’t still happen, like tail-chasing–on my body–at 1am, but for the most part they behave. Seven. Years. our cat does not respect our sleep. she is not allowed in the bedroom. she protests a bit but she eventually goes to sleep as well. nothing wrong with boundaries.

My kitten goes crazy every night. He’s 4 months old, and he goes absolutely wild. He will start climbing on everything, scratching my curtains, chair, blankets, etc. he jumps up onto my bed and starts eating my hair and clawing at my scalp, then he gets bored and starts screaming for me to let him out. I have not slept well in weeks until I finally decided to just move his litter box outside my room and make him sleep outside my room. I have slept quite well last night Nah I do this with my little goblin. He loves staying on the Awesome william tennent high school alumni shirt In addition,I will do this bed but if I cant trust him to respect my space, he loses the privilege and gets to sleep in the living room I pretty much kick mine out every morning around the same time. I’m a day sleeper due to my job and they get real active right around 2-3 hours into me sleeping. I have one cat that’s more “human” and one that’s more “wild animal who loves me” and, the human one will usually give the animal one a wallop for misbehaving, but when she doesn’t police the other one, they both usually get kicked out at some point when they get bored of “cuddling quietly with the sleeping human” What is mind blowing is that if they get kicked out, they go lay down!!! I will never understand why they ONLY get the zoomies exclusively in my room while I’m sleeping and never any other time
