It may also be that this is an internal recruiter that does speak for the Awesome i Want You To Commit Tax Fraud Frog shirt Apart from…,I will love this company, but reaching out directly to the head of HR will enable you to confirm that. Maybe include 2-3 sentences describing how perfectly you fit the role. Perhaps the recruiter will be out their cut! (There are likely contract clauses preventing this, but a job-seeker can dream…) No guarantee you would get the job if you were well and went. But…. You were definitely sick and are getting better. There will be other jobs, don’t play with your health. If you went to the ER and had more and let them know that morning, imagine how they treat employee who went to ER? would you want to work there? Honestly I lost 7 years of my life to a horrible job because a recruiter convinced me it was a great opportunity. When I moved to another state I found out the place was a nightmare, and the guy in charge was completely unhinged. I called the recruiter to tell her, and she said “Oh yeah, well we definitely got the impression that he was off a bit, if it makes you feel better we won’t work with him again.” Like, how the fuck does that help me?

Drop this recruiter. Send an apology email to the Awesome i Want You To Commit Tax Fraud Frog shirt Apart from…,I will love this direct hirer’a hr portal or even better call with evidence of sick leave. Remember this cunt makes money off you. One time, I started a job at a new company and it was my first day as a new hire… I was sick as fuck. When I tried to get the phone number, it was no where to be found. You could call the company but there were a bunch of different offices and the one I was hired for did not have any information at all… so I basically no-call no-showed. They called me and I explained what happened and they were completely fine with it…. I loved working there and it was such a great work-life balance. Management was always professional respectful and reasonable, so things were good. These guys on the other hand sound like dicks because they won’t acknowledge that things beyond your control can happen.
