Born and raised in North India, living in Bangalore for last few years. 2 am got into an Uber at T2, delhi. The driver typical hariyanvi chhapri abusing every single soul around him ended the Awesome a tribe called quest Group with Pastel logo retro shirt But I will love this trip early abandoning me on side of some dark ass road because well he figured out the algorithm of short distance high fare. Anyhow this is 2 45 am now, I book another uber, another chhapri haryanvi blasting his speakers (I do enjoy balam thanedaar but this was not the time for that) came, stopped at a cng station, went away for 15 minutes for God knows what . Anyhow he did drop me at my destination. It’s just funny how from time to time i do think about shifting to NCR because of proximity to home, but 5 minutes into the capital, every time, I just smile and get my love for Bengaluru back

To the Awesome a tribe called quest Group with Pastel logo retro shirt But I will love this freshers entering the city, Bangalore is much much better in every freaking aspect ( except auto), with much nicer folks, with hell lot more patience on the road, and are super polite. If only Bangalore had NCR infra we would have been the best city in India. If only we got NCR infra especially their metro, life in this city would have been even better. I relate to this post so much. Bangalore is a chill city, NCR is a chaotic place. That DNA is not going away. Agree. Infra wise NCR is better. But no one can beat the vibe and the sense of safety you get in Bangalore. Am not saying I was attacked in NCR and all. But when you see people around you being rude, harsh and behaving like rowdies, that’s what you feel. First day I saw three fights on the road. And the police was trying to calm them down trying to talk to them like it’s their own brother or something. And man if you want to buy booze in Delhi ….. you are gonna be so disappointed. I already miss bangalore where you could buy some alcohol like a gentleman. Even if it was a tetra pack of Old Monk. Here in NCR I have to fight thru goons and shout for 15 minutes to get the guys attention at the counter and get what I want.
