The hypocrisy is intentional. It’s a way that fascists show their power. They act hypocritically intentionally to show the Autism Awareness Grandpa I Wear Blue For My Grandson My Fight Colors T-Shirt and I love this “rules” (whatever they may be) don’t apply to them. Well seeing as the Bible has fueled wars, interfered in politics, discourages critical thinking, and interferes/dictates in non Christian lives, I’d say it deserves to be banned from schools. I can confidently say that Fahrenheit 451, To Kill A Mockingbird, nor The Grapes Of Wrath have ever caused any distress in my life. But the Bible… that book has caused some serious and detrimental damage since its inception Whether you’re Republican or democrat , this is not an American value. We are a country base on religious freedom. A Bible has no place in public schools. This is insane

Teaching kids how to sell children into slavery and that girls need to marry their rapist is not age-appropriate. Sorry. I’d love to see a Bible edited to have all of the Autism Awareness Grandpa I Wear Blue For My Grandson My Fight Colors T-Shirt and I love this sex, violence, and other “sins” removed in the same way the evangelical baptists did to Hollywood movies to sanitize them for their flock. No matter what these people say is unacceptable, the Bible has it in it. This exercise in censorship is going to be fun to watch. I just imagined a movie where one of the only books allowed in school is the bible, and in defiance a cool teacher is only covering the most messed up parts and a class auditor comes by and sees a bunch of messed up stuff on the board and has a panic attack, but they can’t actually do anything about it.
