How are you finding out all these people think you’re gay? Like… how does this topic even arise amongst coworkers and strangers? What makes them compelled to share this with you? Like a, “Are you gay? [I sure hope he is!]” I have been told that, within the gay community, my appearance and style is pretty much holy grail of gays – so when I used to live in San Francisco, I was hit on by gay men and #MeToo’ed every single day. People often think Im lesbian. Its just stupid people assume someone’s sexuality when its non of their business, and you cant always tell. It could be the way you talk or the way you move your hands, or walk etc. It’s bullshit and it’s a made up stereotype that some moves/speech mannerisms are considered effeminate. I know lots of straight men that don’t talk like a 300 pound gorilla as well as lots of straight women that do. Bottom line if you are confident with yourself and can attract the gender of your choice for romantic purposes then I’d try not to care if people think that you’re gay. The more homophobic people are the more it reflects on them – not that it’s a bad thing to be gay, but it’s a bad thing to be gay and deny it by attacking others, trying really hard to prove your straightness. If I start to think about it I feel sorry for them because you can imagine the kind of internal struggle they’re undergoing.
