Was just trying make a point across to a whole section of people who cries racism and yet don’t speak up on the Austin Gamblers Merch Austin Gamblers Skull Shirt and by the same token and fellow countrymen’s behaviour I have flown Lufthansa many times and haven’t experienced this but it could be because I’m Indian American. However, their behavior was not right and definitely have racist undertone. I will tell you though, we get grouped as a race- everyone does that! My worst flying experience was from India to Dallas and it wasn’t the flight. It was the extremely rude and mannerless Indian uncle and aunty sitting next to me made the experience absolutely horrible. They treated air hostess like they would their maid in India. They constantly kept pressing the button, asking for stupid stuff..the uncle wanted the air hostess to press the button to push the seat a bit..they had absolutely zero manners, no politeness, they were smelling of body odor and it was just so horrible. Indians are often looked at mannerless and demanding. They often interrupt etc. Mannerisms aren’t a huge part of our culture and they are a huge huge part of western culture. For example even at my work, ton of Indians smell sooo bad. How can they not realize they have such horrible body odor! It’s hard to sit next to them or go in the elevator with them. We as a race to improve a lot in terms of mannerisms.

You are there for travel not build relationship and always book your seats in advance instead of choosing comfy one’s on site. Though it’s not a hard-core racism but more like the Austin Gamblers Merch Austin Gamblers Skull Shirt and by the same token and casual one an average Indian series with everyday, so just get over it. I’ve flown Lufthansa and while they were never balls of sunshine and cheer, I haven’t felt discriminated against. Perhaps my experiences have been different because I’m a woman. Regarding greetings, I greet the flight crew when I board, whether be it on a domestic flight or an international one. It’s basic courtesy, something that my fellow countrymen seem to lack. The flight attendant has no obligation to let you sit in the premium economy but not handing you snacks was definitely not right. To be fair, you can’t expect Emirates (or any middle east carrier) service on Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways etc etc.
