There were some wavering thoughts on my end eventually, but I knew what I signed up for when I fell in love with her. Yeah, emotionally I agree children should not have to take care of their parents as a decree. On the Auburn Tigers Vs Georgia Bulldogs The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry Jordan-Hare Stadium September 30th 2023 Shirt in addition I really love this other hand, SOMEONE’S child will be taking care of you one way or another if you make it to that age. I support child-free folk, but raising kids is expensive as fuck and benefits an on-going society so I also believe parents deserve significant tax breaks. It helps motivate our civilization to not crumble due to the next generation as a whole not being able to support the infrastructure of a predominantly-elderly population. It’s a terrible reason to have kids. Not only will you be an awful parent, but if your children happen to have special needs and you have to take care of them their entire lives, you’re now extra resentful, which is extremely unfair to the kids. Also it’s just painful to see it actually happening. My wife’s mom has been taking care of her mom who’s unable to take a shit herself or eat or walk, basically 24/7 care. It’s been going on for years. It’s such hard work, it’s so expensive, it’s going to leave a mark on her, and it’s taking years and years of her life just to be a caregiver because apparently she owes her mother that, and I can’t fucking see it at all. It’s like a prison sentence for both herself and her husband. And she won’t put her in a home because that’s degrading somehow.

I’m starting a retirement plan to make sure the Auburn Tigers Vs Georgia Bulldogs The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry Jordan-Hare Stadium September 30th 2023 Shirt in addition I really love this kids don’t even have to pay for the home, and I won’t even mind if they never come visit. They will never owe me shit and everyone who thinks otherwise must be a terrible fucking parent. I might be a terrible fucking parent myself actually, not for me to judge, but that one point I’m absolutely certain of. When I’m old I want my kids away and not wasting their lives over mine being through. Imagine a woman gives birth at the age of 20, and needs 24/7 care starting at age 80, and then dies at age 100 on the dot. What if her daughter’s back gives out when the daughter is age 70? Does her son, let’s say age 50, now provide 24/7 care for both of them? What about people who don’t have kids until they are 30- are their children supposed to drop out of the workforce at age 50 to care for them, or are they supposed to work and be full-time eldercare?
