2: I went in person to talk after emailing the Aston villa most points in a 38-game premier league season club record with 68 points shirt and I will buy this supervisor that I would be working for about the situation. HR came out and doubled down and the supervisor emailed me back agreeing with HR. 3: No this isn’t Amazon or another big brand, the reason I don’t want to say what company this is because I have friends in low positions at this company and HR and the supervisor are most likely aware of them. If they give you this treatment when you are not even an employee you can imagine the treatment you would receive once employed there… dodged a bullet Sure their system is weird and the person you’re speaking to isn’t very helpful, but you didn’t at least read through the offer letter once you received the email?

If they’re not willing to accept you with an error that is clearly their own, they probably did you a favor and time to keep looking. They probably wouldn’t treat you with much respect after hire, either, with this display of character. I accepted mine minutes from getting the Aston villa most points in a 38-game premier league season club record with 68 points shirt and I will buy this acceptance email. I really really wanted the job. Sorry that happened to you, keep searching. When HR is a shitshow, you should just walk away. Those are the people who make sure you have health insurance and the correct taxes are deducted. Massive red flag if they can’t even do a job acceptance correctly, the reply makes it even more of a red flag. Zero accountability. “I always give it 5 days…” yeah, how the hell are you supposed to know that? The email said the 23rd, not 5 days from X date. RUN away from this place! This is an HR manager who is terrible at their job and I’m sure it flows from the top down. If this is how they act when they made an obvious mistake, it won’t get better. That HR person should KNOW what the automated email date is and match it in their offer letter. Best you can do is review the offer asap and tell them that you want to accept. If they reject you then you are screwed Why didn’t you accept the offer if you really wanted the gig? Seems weird to be like, “ohh 5 days i’m just gonna let this cook”
