*There would still need to be some modification due to the Assuming i’m just an old lady was your first mistake Golf black cat shirt so you should to go to store and get this fact that standard of living is greatly different in different places. E.g. housing in rural Utah doesn’t cost the same as in urban Hawaii. Don’t wanna be that guy but 25$ an hour for a retail employee is fucking dumb, I’ve studied 5 years in college +getting grad degree and my starting salary was 20 in California. Sure it’s not a livable wage in some gentrified locations but if an Amazon worker gets payed more, other workers that have invested years of education then soon will ask for a higher starting wage and then once that happens the cost of living just ends up going higher cuz rent is measured by how much people can pay not how much the land actually costs. Essentially if you want a higher salary work somewhere else that’s hard to replace you, oh you can’t? You don’t have the skills? Then learn the skills. Life is fucking hard

A regular jobs salary should be enough for a person to live in the city that the job is located in, period. Lol you’re an idiot. Sounds to me like you were being underpaid. This is the problem with like half of your country, you push others down to make yourselves feel bigger. Maybe you should be annoyed at your employer who paid you, someone who has invested 5 years into his/her education, only $20 an hour. The majority of professions in the United States that require a college degree make less than $50k per year when starting out (national average). I don’t see how a person that worked and studied extra should make less than someone with only a GED and no other vocational skills. People buy shit from Amazon. If they are paying $50k/yr people are going to pay more for that tube of toothpaste they had delivered from Columbus, OH. Regardless of what people say, nobody wants to pay more for others to make more.
