And this trickles down to lots of other garments, too; I just find the asmine Dragon Tea Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this difference is the most stark in the athletic realm. There are plenty of issues with modern clothing manufacturing, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think this is one of them. One of my favorite things about living in this time period is the many soft fabrics. Growing up as a kid clothing was soooo uncomfortable. It was stiff, itchy, and hot. Wool really depends. The more expensive wools are not scratchy to me. It’s also amazing in cold weather. I remember my first pair of wool socks instead of cotton. Suddenly my feet didn’t get cold during winter! Polyblends are often fine for me, but I also work mainly at a desk in a fairly cool building. In the heat of summer, no! And not all blends are the same…I need to touch the fabric to know for certain. It isn’t something that I personally can tell just by looks or by percentages. Not surprised. Polyester is notoriously categorized as a “nonbreathable” fabric, at least historically. The newfangled tech/wicking polyester is arguably breathable. (I find 100% polyester soooo uncomfortable but am fine with certain poly blends, like most Jersey fabric. Otherwise, I definitely prefer natural fabric.) It so uncomfortable but be it an expensive or even a cheaper dress, they all use polyester. The fashion industry is really cashing on it

I actually wouldn’t mind polyester if it didn’t make my eczema worse. Quality polyester it is. There is a huge difference between what you’ll find at Zara compared to something nicer. i recently moved across the asmine Dragon Tea Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this country and purged my wardrobe in the process and basically everything that i got rid of for being too uncomfortable to wear was polyester and i realized then that i have to stop buying polyester clothes (especially online) if i don’t want another couple trash bags full of clothes i hate wearing. In tops sometimes it’ll work in a blend but it’s never my first choice. I’d rather own 3/4 good shirts in cotton than 10 in polyester. Not being dramatic at all! Polyester & silk totally make me sweat. Baby powder is the secret to wearing those fabrics. Seriously, baby powder your armpits, underboob, crotch, butt, small of the back, anywhere you’d normally sweat in heat & wherever that item of clothing is going to spend the most contact with. & wear a lighter coat/jacket, dress in layers so you don’t freeze outside & die inside. & if possible, carry a rose water face mist, dip in the bathroom & hit your face with a spray or 2 & it’s very cooling & calming. Also, certain alcohol & foods can exasperate feeling hot or sweaty. Stick with drinks on the rocks,seltzer or white wine & stay away from heavy meats on the charcuterie board.
