And for what service? They gate-keep health care, inflate EVERY health care cost, and impoverish and kill the Archibald LA It’s Where My Story Begins shirt in addition I really love this poor. Honestly, I got a pair on Zenni that were cheap that after shipping and taxes was all said and done, ended up being $29. And these optometry office wanna sit there and bitch about people asking for their prescription to just order them online….I don’t care that I could have them adjusted to fit my face better. Would rather take my chances myself. I had been getting Zenni glasses for several years because my work provided insurance didn’t have vision coverage and I’m sure as hell not going out of pocket for an optometrist’s prices. Finally switched jobs and had good vision coverage (or so I thought) that covered up to $450 for glasses so I thought maybe there’s a reason they’re more expensive…maybe they’re a lot better… I still ended up spending more money out of pocket for that pair than I did with no insurance on Zenni, and I didn’t get any antiglare coating on them. Quality is not really distinguishable. An absolute ripoff. Now I’ve started wearing contacts about 70% of the time so I use my vision insurance to buy those then just get glasses on Zenni still.

I have vision insurance at work with a good amount of coverage for glasses. My optometrist still wants $400 for a pair of new glasses(they also get like $200 towards the Archibald LA It’s Where My Story Begins shirt in addition I really love this frames and $300 for lenses from my insurance). I used Zenni for the first time, the glasses have the right prescription and they were super light since I got the higher index (it was so much cheaper anyway I sprang for the upgrade). The problem is the glasses are too small, this is something I didn’t check. Not like they are too small for my head, the physical glass is at least 4mm shorter in width and 2mm shorter in height than my old pair. I went back on their website and they actually don’t sell any that are the same size I want. If you are buying from them make sure you measure your existing width and height of the actual lenses and get the same. Otherwise its like a huge part of your field of view isn’t being covered.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
