Took a 22 short from one of those wacky trapper pistol things to the Aquamarine that’s kind of pretty mean girls shirt Apart from…,I will love this thigh after going through a car door. About like touching one of those 12v cigarette lighters for a second. It’s not quite the same thing as being shot by someone else, but I had a negligent discharge that almost took my left pinky off. Honestly, the pain of the joint having been turned to dust was far worse than the actual gunshot wound. It was maybe a 5 on the pain scale, but mainly just really irritating, because it throbbed for days. The pain of the destroyed joint was about a constant 8 for 3-4 days, before it just hurt for probably 6 months after that. Almost 3 years on, and that joint still hurts from time to time. Not “shot” shot, but I had a bullet shard from ricochet go behind my right knee. Honestly the rehab was more painful the wound. Only thing I remember feeling was heat and a sting I caught a .40 fragment in the shin off one of my own rounds at the range. Broke the skin and bled a little. Nothing major. Felt like someone took a hammer to my shin. I couldn’t imagine getting hit by the whole bullet.

I was leaning against a fence when the shooting started. I didnt feel the entry but i felt the exit. I ran into a gangway and my leg got very warm. By the time i looked down my leg was covered in blood and the back of my thigh was burning. If i had to scale the pain 1-10, id say a solid 5. Beats getting stabbed but shock is a bitch. Caught part of a 9 mm ricochet in my forearm. Felt like when you get hit so hard the area feels numb. Looked down at my arm and saw a perfectly round red mark the size of a pencil eraser. Looked at it for a couple of seconds trying to figure out what happened when it started bleeding profusely. Got the bleeding stopped and bandaged. Didn’t ever really hurt but drinking that night it started bleeding again and ended up in the emergency room, police show up and take a report, exrays and the doctor says he can go in and dig it out or since it’s in a spot where it won’t cause anymore harm he can leave it. Opted to leave it and go drink more and never had any more issues from it.
