We made it clear not to kiss baby’s hands or face, laying emphasis on the Appetite For Protection guardians of the galaxy shirt What’s more,I will buy this MIL and my mom because they are most likely to try to kiss or cross a boundary. We also had several other kids and one more baby at the event so the idea was to keep everyone safe and healthy. Several times I had to remind my mother (that suspiciously had “allergies” & a cough at the event) to not kiss my baby. The last time she tried to lean in, i interjected by saying for the 4th time “don’t kiss the baby” and she stormed off and hid in a room crying the rest of the night making me out as the bad guy. Feeling guilty, i apologized and just told her i didn’t intend to upset her. What does she do the next day? kiss the baby on the head before she left!! Today i find out that two of the kids got sick yesterday and one tested positive for covid today & I fear my baby is next.

Stick to your boundaries, don’t let someone else’s selfish behavior put your baby at risk! After this event I only wish i was more of an asshole at setting firm boundaries An ER MD I was just working with last night was talking about how covid, rsv and flu rates are going way, way up for everyone (edit-locally to us/our state) even when they normally are tapering off from winter atm. It’s inexcusable to disregard the Appetite For Protection guardians of the galaxy shirt What’s more,I will buy this parents wishes at any time but it literally risks a PICU stay and death when they expose babies. Just wtf. I would not blame you if you put your mom in timeout for quite a while for 1. Kissing your child while ill and 2. The crying theatrics. Absolutely reframe this, too-YOU are not being the ahole-THEY are being the aholes by exposing your child and kissing them after you repeatedly (!!) said not to.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
