I never knew that. I did know that if you’re part time and getting full time hours that if you go so many weeks they have to offer full time. I don’t remember how many weeks but I got full time hours most weeks and one week would be part time until it got to where they really needed me to be full time and then I got it. It used to be that is you were consistently scheduled over 33.5 hours for 16 weeks the Apparently i have an attitude baby yoda shirt and by the same token and company policy was to transition you to full time position. Walmart still doesn’t support working employees full time hours for part time benefits. Ima cart pusher who for reference(walks like 30k steps a shift) basically doesn’t stop moving my whole shift. There are positions in the store That make 1-2-3 dollars more an hour than me that I’m asked to occasionally do when carts are slow. I don’t get how an OGP or Stocker gets paid more than me when my jobs degree of difficulty is significantly greater My maintenance team lead (who doesn’t come in until 21:00) ripped the front end team lead a new asshole because they would pull me (the only maintenance associate on from 17-21) to do cart pushing when I’m supposed to be doing all of the bathrooms. He got here in time to hear her ask me over the radio and told me later that it’s BS. Yeah, carts need to get done at some point but it’s not my fault their turnover is shit.

I think the Apparently i have an attitude baby yoda shirt and by the same token and managers should pull carts! What, just because they are a manager they don’t have to do that? Half the managers at the Walmarts I have been to stand around and talk when they could be pulling carts. They are not immune to pulling carts just because they are a manager or a lead! At my store they did, even the store manager would get out there. He always said it would take 15 people quicker than 2 and usually once that happened the 2 cart people were able to keep up. Management needs to do a whole lot of shit that they never do they think just because I’ve got a coach or a team lead badge that automatically disqualifies them from most fucking things in the store Management in the beginning was good at helping on the floor. After they started messing with management and moving them or letting go the good ones, then it became where you hardly saw them.
