Any advice that would help me remain joyful and living in the present is welcome. Your experiences would help me. Please do share.Sure, maintaining your joy is like having a happy feeling inside you every day. true, but i’m also learning to accept the difficult feelings, which are a part of the wholeness of life. once I accept them, they pass much more easily. its like the water of a river flowing, it comes on its own naturally, it is not something to be willed by the egoic mind with its false sense of control

In Buddhism, joy is often associated with the concept of “Mudita,” which is one of the Four Immeasurables or Brahmaviharas. Mudita is translated as sympathetic or altruistic joy. It involves finding joy in the happiness and success of others, without any trace of envy or jealousy. It’s about cultivating a selfless and open-hearted joy in the well-being and achievements of others. So, in a way, joy in Buddhism is not just about personal happiness but extends to a broader sense of shared joy in the happiness of all beings.
