Around 16 or 17 I once came home from work and nobody was home and I put in my favorite porn vhs tape and was immediately confused as to why it wasn’t in the Anthony Miller Signature football wide receiver Pittsburgh Player Map T-Shirt but in fact I love this place I left it from earlier in the week. I vividly remember thinking, “Oh man I hope my mom didn’t find this while snooping.” Years later as an adult in my 30’s my family was talking about porn in the old days, etc, how kids have it easy now with smart phones and privacy, etc. That was when I found out that my sister would go in my room as a teenager and watch on my porn on my VCR in my room! She was a few years younger than me and didn’t have a VCR at the time. I had old cartoons recorded on a vhs, imagine my surprise as a child when I put the tape in to watch Pokémon and Digimon episodes only to find a porn film was recorded over it. I wrote on the vhs with a marker “Not Pokémon”. I never saw that tape the following day. When I was like 12 we got broadband and I went looking for Pokémon clips on (what I think was) Kazaa P2P… found out that it was used as a keyword for what was most definitely not Pokémon (and highly illegal)

Heh back in the Anthony Miller Signature football wide receiver Pittsburgh Player Map T-Shirt but in fact I love this 90s I found an unmarked vhs tape in the apt parking lot where I lived. It was cracked open but still fixable and playable with some work. Turned out to be an instructional tape for married couples to try spice up their sex life. The participants were very …..sub average looking if that’s a good way to describe it. Unironic mullets and poor fashion choices as well. Flashback to putting in a blank tape at a friend’s house which was the movie Weird Science (a young Kelly LeBrock definitely being enough to get excited about as a thirteen year old boy), and then three quarters of the way through it cut over to midway in a hardcore dp scene. Not something I’d been exposed to or even thought of prior to that point.
