My father has a lot of comorbidities and I’m not even going to slightly entertain the Animated art iconic christmas bells shirt But I will love this possibility that his death or disability from Covid is on my hands. Besides, masks have never bothered me in the slightest. I’ve frequently forgotten to take it off after leaving stores, driving all the way home, then someone asks “Why are you still wearing that?”. My fiance has asthma so any of these mutated covid versions scares me if she were to get so at work or public settings I always have one as I don’t want her sick. Even though we are both vaccinated. I don’t like people looking at me. I was/am (gained weight) conventionally attractive and compulsory heterosexuality made me feel like I *had* to date men. Everything in my life was for men. Fucked me up. “Not all Men” hate women wearing masks because they can’t tell if you’re hot. Not getting that constant attention from men has given me the space to be myself.

This isn’t just my story though. A fuckload of people realized that they are LGBTQA+ because of masks and the Animated art iconic christmas bells shirt But I will love this lockdown. Yes because I work inches from people’s faces and see 10+ people in a day plus transit and have elderly family at home. It’s not even just covid now, but not being sick at all, not having to put on makeup and smile, not having to smell people’s breath… I’m seeing nothing but benefits. I wasn’t for a while, but we had 20 new cases in the last week at my work. Thats out of about 100 people total in the building…Covids not over Yeah. I’m living with an immunocompromised parent who had a couple month’s stay at the ICU last year so I’m just trying to stay safe as much as I can. I’ve made it over two years without having Covid, or the flu, and my hay fever hasn’t been as bad. And no random assholes have told me to smile. I might just wear a mask forever. Yes. People are still dieing and the hospitals are overflowing. Covid didn’t end. I have friends who have compromised immune systems who can’t get the vaccine. Until we can go several months without someone getting it let alone dieing from it, I’m not taking it off. I wear it for several reasons. One, I have PCOS and no longer have to shave my face daily. Two, it helps my allergies. Three, I don’t ever want to spend another week trapped inside my house again and I am going to do anything to prevent it.
